The most attractive feature about Avaya/Lucent products is the simplicity of use and programming. These systems were designed with the basic business in mind that does not need any of the bells and whistles of the larger, more complex phone system manufacturers.

The newest release of the Partner ACS processor module provides for 5 incoming CO lines and 9 extension ports on board. With a 5 slot carrier, the maximum capacity for this system would be 25 telephone lines and 45 extensions.

These systems are fully functional, and can accommodate most business needs. The voice mail system typically used with this processor is a Flash ROM module that is inserted directly into the processor itself.

The Partner 18D telephone is the standard display phone for the ACS systems.   It provides 16 programmable buttons with lights for various options such as CO lines or extension buttons, two intercom buttons and 4 buttons without lights for features such as Redial, Paging, etc.
